With Spring just around the corner, the HEAVY.AI team has been focused on several projects that we are excited to share with you. These projects are focused on bringing more value to our platform and will allow customers to interact with their data in new and different ways.

Introducing HeavyIQ

We are excited to announce HeavyIQ, a new capability in the HEAVY.AI platform allowing users for the first time to ask questions and get answers from their data using natural language. HeavyIQ will be part of the HEAVY V8 release.

Users can ask questions via regular text which gets converted to SQL utilizing a large language model (LLM). We start with an open-source LLM foundation model, which we then extensively fine tune (with 45,000+ training pairs) to handle a wide set of analytics use cases with state-of-the-art accuracy, including text-to-sql and text-to-visualization. The LLM can run locally on the same GPU infrastructure you use to run the HEAVY.AI platform, meaning no concerns about privacy or metadata leakage.

HeavyEco Update

Recently, we co-hosted a HeavyEco focused webinar with Carahsoft: "Accelerating Flood Planning & Forecasting'. Dr. Mike Flaxman, our Head of Product, shared how the HeavyEco solution can help organizations in the following areas:

Accelerate decision-making during a hydrological event
Utilize interactive visual analytics for in-depth data exploration to forecast flooding risk
Analyze observed/forecasted data to view impact and evaluate mitigation options
Identify local building infrastructure that may be impacted by flooding and the extent of impact based on expected precipitation or changing water levels
