We're excited to announce HEAVY.AI v6.4. This release features Immerse and HeavyDB improvements that have been requested by customers. The 6.4 release notes can be found here. 

Immerse Improvements

• Contour chart allows users to visualize patterns in geo point data.
• Cross section chart provides a new view on 2.5D or 3D datasets, where a selected data dimension is plotted on the vertical axis for a slice of geographical data. 
• Two meteorological charts, wind barb for displaying wind speed and direction visually, and Skew-T for weather modeling. 
• Time series comparisons enable time-lag analysis in charts, for example month-over-month or quarter-over-quarter changes in data. 
• For categorical data we now support MODE aggregation.

• Support for queries that reference tables in other databases
• Support for BigQuery & Hivefor HeavyConnect and import.
• NewMODE aggregation method.
• Length limit for TEXT ENCODING NONE columns lifted from 32,000 to ~2.1bn characters.
